Time to cut the cord...

Last night was the Vet Clinic's Christmas party dinner and (even though I don't work there anymore) Susan would not take no for an answer so I put on some face and went and acted like a kept woman, cause that's what I have her believing I am, if she knew I had a new job she might murder me (I'm not kidding.) Thank the Lord it was a group setting because she can only ask "what i do all day, and aren't I bored, and what I do with all of this time" (that i don't really have!) so many times before it just becomes rude. She's not a bad person really, she's just terrible to work for! It was so nice to catch up with old coworkers and meet some of the new members of the future SVC alumni.

My favorite (Liz) also informed that she will be giving her notice Monday, another restaurant ruined for Susan (we had a staff meeting somewhere delicious the night before i gave my notice and she refuses to go back to that restaurant) #crazy

It was pretty typical- delicious food, Yankee swap, etc. Shout out to Liz for informing me there was a Yankee swap cause Susan didn't...

I really think it's time I cut the cord though, she just won't accept that I'm not coming back.

If you're in Massachusetts go to the Waterfall Bar & Grille in Canton, you'll thank yourself. The BEST Lamb Shank I've had in a while and I can't even explain the fried oysters
